Bobcat Goldthwait

When I was young I grew up watching stupid-ass movies because I feel like if there was anything the 80's wasn't missing, it was really bad good movies.  A slew of them were the Police Academy series.
If you grew up in the 1980's you must have seen this movie once or twice on WPIX-11 or if you have "the scrambler" cable box, HBO.

You may not remember the people in the film all that much unless you watched it recently, but Kim Cattrall was in it, Steve Guttenberg, before and during Cocoon, A whole bunch of other people who I don't know by name.  But I do remember Bobcat Goldthwait!

Loud and just uncomfortable to watch, I LOVE Bobcat.   He was funny and did that noise thing and was so loud you kind of wondered if he was death or "gifted."

Whatever happened to Bobcat?!  The truth of the matter is, he didn't disappear, he's just always been around.  Then the 90's came and I got older and sure I loved him in the more tiring Police Academy movies later in the series, but I think the last time I saw him was Scrooged.
Bobcat in Police Academy 2 (1985).
Tonight, I came home ate dinner and turned Netflix on.  I was going to watch Chelsea Handler's new special Uganda Be Kidding Me, but I saw the first three minutes and realized it was going to be too funny to watch alone and sober.

So now I'm in the mood to watch stand-up.  While flicking through the catalog of films, I saw a familiar face; older, but familiar.   "Holy Shit, that's Bobcat Goldthwait."  I clicked it on and began to watch.  Still funny, still loud, still crazy, however, he is definitely one of those people you would have never guessed what they would look like when they got older.  You might not have even cared.  But it happened.
